Joining us in September? It all starts here →

Mental Health Foundation
With prevention at the heart of what we do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

We are looking for a volunteer photographer (this could be a photography student or someone who has skills in this area) to come along to our London Marathon cheer point on Sunday 2nd October 2022, to capture pictures of our runners, and then come to our post-race reception to take some photos of our runners and their families after the race. This will be a really fun day as there is a great atmosphere at this event, and you will be given a break and food will be provided on the day, as well as travel expenses paid for,

If there are two photography students interested in the opportunity, we can split the day between them e.g. one can come to the cheer point and one can come to the post race reception.

Time commitment

This is a one off event, although there could be other opportunities similar to this in future. The day will start at 9am and finish at about 5pm, with a lunch break and food included. There will be a member of the Mental Health Foundation team at both the cheer point and post race reception who you can go to, to ask any questions. You must have your own camera to bring along on the day, and e-mail all photographs to us after the event.
Application deadline
