Project Leader Training
We also provide training to help you get the most out of the experience of running your own project. Our online workshop covers project planning, evaluation, building links with community organisations, recruiting & managing volunteers and safe volunteering.
We aim to equip you with fundamental leadership and management skills to plan, deliver and monitor your projects successfully - you'll be able to show-off this knowledge when you enter the world of work too!
Tip: Employers love to see that students have taken up additional training to develop their leadership skills - that's why we also provide certification when you complete our training.
Apply for Funding
You can apply for up to £750 to run your project - in addition, your travel costs (and those of your volunteers) will be covered by the Volunteering Service.
You can access your Student-Led Project webpage here.
